Med Start Summer Camp is an AHEC funded program designed to encourage junior and senior high school students to pursue their interest in a variety of healthcare careers. AHEC focuses on accepting students who come from:

• Disadvantaged backgrounds
• Low-income families
• Rural areas
• Minority/Underrepresented
• First-generation to attend college

Med Start is a FREE week long program and will include:

• Hands on healthcare activities
• Shadowing with health professionals
• Medical tours and symposia
• College support sessions on financial aid, admissions and college life
• Recreation and social activities

Med Start summer camp dates and locations:

• MSU-B Campus (Billings): June 24- 29, 2012
• U of M Campus (Missoula): June 24-29, 2012
• MSU Campus (Bozeman): June 24-30, 2012
• University of Great Falls (Great Falls): July 8-13, 2012
